Parklands has trained GP Registrars for over 30 years. We welcome a GP Specialist Training Registrar (GPSTR) in their 3rd year of specialist training to work at the practice, and also have links with GPSTRs in their first and second years when they are based at the hospital or in other community posts.

Our GPSTRs are all well-qualified doctors who are totally capable of autonomous practice, but they are under the educational supervision of a GP Trainer, currently Dr Jim Price.

Patients may be seen by any doctor in the practice, including the GPSTRs, and we would expect a top level of service from any and all our doctors. If you have any worries about the nature of your consultation, or the status of the doctor seeing you, please do ask.

Our current GP Registrar is Dr Arabella Sargent who is studying for her professional GP exam (nMRCGP) and working part-time (Wednesdays and Fridays) at the practice. She will be here until November 2008.
