If you think you may need a prescription medicine, please make an appointment with the doctor. Our practice nurse practitioner can also issue prescriptions for common ailments. Your local pharmacist should be able to give you advice for non-prescription medication.

If you require a repeat prescription this request must be in writing and received by the surgery 48 hours [not including weekends] before you can collect it. We can send your prescription to a local chemist. Please request this with a receptionist. We are unable to accept repeat prescription requests over the phone.

Please note that sometimes is can take longer than 48 hours if the Doctor need to discuss the prescription with you.

We cannot give repeat prescriptions for the Contraceptive Pill or HRT Treatment.  Please make an appointment with a Doctor or Practice Nurse.
